Linn Meyers’s paintings, drawings, and site-specific works have been shown in public and private venues, including The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC, The Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, CA, The Phillips Collection, Washington, DC, The Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art, Tokyo, Japan, The Corcoran Museum of Art, Washington, DC, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, DC, The Drawing Center, NYC, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC, Sandra Gering Inc, NYC, Jason Haam, Seoul, South Korea, ParisConcret, Paris, France, and The Bowdoin Museum, Brunswick, ME, among others.
Meyers is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, including a Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship, The Pollock Krasner Award, a Santo Foundation award, and six DC Commission on the Arts grants. She has been Artist In Residence at The Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC, The Bemis Institute in Omaha NE, The Millay Colony in Austerlitz, NY, The San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, CA, Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Ireland, Flying Horse Editions, Orlando, FL, and The Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, NM. meyers holds a BFA from The Cooper Union and an MFA from the California College of the Arts and her work is collected in private and public collections internationally.
