Cristian Chironi was born in Sardinia (IT) and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. He uses different mediums including performance, photography, video, drawing, often creating a sort of interaction among them. He has worked on site specific performances and installations, always looking to engage the context, be it human (public) or environmental (space). He currently lives and works in Le Corbusier's twelve houses in the world and travels aboard a FIAT 127 Special, renamed Chameleon for its ability to change color.
