Eman Quotah is the Saudi-American author of the novel Bride of the Sea (Tin House, 2021), which won the 2022 Arab American Book Award for Fiction. Her essays and stories have appeared in The Washington Post, USA Today, Kweli, The Rumpus, Literary Hub, Electric Literature, Jellyfish Review, Necessary Fiction, Gargoyle, Witness, The Markaz Review, ArabLit Quarterly, and several anthologies. She's received support for her work from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County. Eman is working on an Arab-American Hollywood novel. She lives in Maryland with her family.
